Businesses Gain Deeper Insight at Virtual Conference

Last week, Cornish web developers, UKNetWeb, hosted a free virtual conference for local businesses wanting to know more about the Convergence round of funding for the county.

Virtual Conference to Look at Convergence Business Support Funding

Flight Booking System no Challenge for Cornish Web Company

A Cornish company has just completed work on a sophisticated web based flight booking system for a major national travel company after being recommended as one of the few companies in the country able to program this level of system.

The system built for Travel Smith Limited, based in the South East, required more than 400 hours of complex programming over a period of 6 months. This was needed to ensure that a range of back end systems could work together seamlessly to assist those booking holidays on the Channel Islands.

Local Web Company Announces Acquisition

Local web development company, Uknetweb, is to expand with the acquisition of fellow St.Agnes based business, Galileo RM.

The business, previously owned and managed by Aren Grimshaw, will be incorporated into uknetweb as it moves to increase links between clients’ online and offline activities.

Cornish Companies Unveil Largest Online Motorcycle Parts Store in UK

Two Cornish companies are breaking new ground on the internet together after developing one of the largest motorcycle parts websites in the UK and possibly Europe.The site, built by St.Agnes based company Uknetweb, is just one of many advanced e-commerce systems created by the company in recent months. Other projects have included a new website for the charity Surfers Against Sewage and a mobile application for worldwide brand Nokia.
