Businesses Gain Deeper Insight at Virtual Conference

Last week, Cornish web developers, UKNetWeb, hosted a free virtual conference for local businesses wanting to know more about the Convergence round of funding for the county.

Virtual Conference to Look at Convergence Business Support Funding

Virtual Conference Highlights Cornish Strength in Face of a Recession

Yesterday’s virtual conference, Insight:Recession, highlighted local optimism in the face of growing fears that the UK economy is facing a recession.

The virtual event which took place on Tuesday (2nd September) featured a keynote speech from respected economist, and former Finance Cornwall Chief Executive, Lord Robin Teverson.

Guests at the event included a range of local business owners as well as Stephen Bohane, Head of Business Development in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly within The South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) and Terrye Teverson, Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Truro and Falmouth. Businesses Share ISO Success Story with Others

Two local companies celebrated the award of their ISO 9001 status last week by hosting an event for companies who want to learn more about what the ISO standards can do for their business.

Motorsport DVD Archive Series No Challenge For UKNetWeb

South West based, UKNetWeb has just completed work on a DVD archive series for nationally acclaimed motor racing magazine, Motorsport.

The series of four disks archive and display all 480 complete magazines published between 1950 and 1989, covering nearly 40 years of motor racing history. (more…)
