A Cornish company has just completed work on a sophisticated web based flight booking system for a major national travel company after being recommended as one of the few companies in the country able to program this level of system.
The system built for Travel Smith Limited, based in the South East, required more than 400 hours of complex programming over a period of 6 months. This was needed to ensure that a range of back end systems could work together seamlessly to assist those booking holidays on the Channel Islands.
A series of lunch seminars organised by local companies uknetweb, Coodes and Niddocks have attracted another full house as businesses in Cornwall search to understand how they can utilise their online potential.
The specially arranged short seminars have been designed to give business owners and managers a quick burst of information covering the three major areas needed for success online.
Local web development company, Uknetweb, is to expand with the acquisition of fellow St.Agnes based business, Galileo RM.
The business, previously owned and managed by Aren Grimshaw, will be incorporated into uknetweb as it moves to increase links between clients’ online and offline activities.
