Hundreds of Cornish websites not accessible to potential customers using the UK's fastest growing and second most used web browser.
The Firefox web browser, a more secure option than the most popular web browser, Internet Explorer, is now the second most used browser in the UK. Firefox was launched in November 2004 and has very quickly gained enormous popularity with both personal and professional internet users. Because it has been developed through the open source software community it is updated and fixed for security issues more frequently than Internet Explorer and as a direct result does not allow so many pop ups, spyware and adware to appear on a users screen. and Cornish business websites' statisticsindicate that Internet Explorer now only accounts for as few as 50% of all business website visitors.
