Live Web Site Hacking Demo
As part of the Let's Prof IT organised "IT Horror Show" Toby Parkins's of uknetweb is pleased to have been invited to speak about web security.
So the choice is: a boring talk about security; or a live demonstration hacking into a live website?
Well, no choice really. That's right, on 28th March 2007 Toby will be showing off his website hacking skills in front of a small audience of IT related companies at Kingsley Village in Fraddon, Cornwall.
Why? To demonstrate how difficult or easy it is to break into a website.
On a more serious note, Toby will also follow up with some advice on how to avoid being hacked and practical tips on how to check your website is secure.
There are companies everywhere who have lost thousands of pounds through Internet fraud due to insecure websites. Hopefully, through this demonstration, uknetweb will help a few more companies avoid becoming victims.
